Profit Leak Scanner — Privacy Policy

Profit Leak Scanner ("the App"), operated by Orissty Studios ("we", "us"), is a read-only Shopify app that audits a merchant's own store for potential profit leaks. This policy explains what data the App accesses, how it is used, and how it is protected.

What data the App accesses

When you install the App on your Shopify store, and only for your own store, it reads:

• Products and catalog data — titles, descriptions, images, variants, prices, compare-at prices, inventory quantities, and product cost data.
• Store content and policies — your published store policies (returns, shipping, and similar) and related page content.
• Order economics (aggregate only) — order counts, sales totals, discount totals, and refund totals within a selected date range. The App does not read or store individual customer names, email addresses, phone numbers, shipping addresses, or any other customer personal information.
• Store analytics — aggregate session/traffic counts from Shopify's analytics.

The App is read-only: it never creates, edits, or deletes anything in your store.

How the data is used

The data is used solely to generate your store's profit-leak audit — a risk verdict, estimated leak ranges, findings, and recommendations shown to you inside the app. Results are computed for your store and shown only to you.

What is stored, and for how long

We store the results of your scans (the audit reports) and your monitoring schedule, associated with your store domain, so we can show your history and detect changes over time. We also store the standard Shopify authentication session needed to run the app.

We do not store individual customer personal data, because we never collect it.

When you uninstall the App, your authentication session is deleted immediately, and all of your store's stored data is erased in response to Shopify's shop data-erasure request (sent 48 hours after uninstall). We honor Shopify's mandatory data-privacy requests (customers/data_request, customers/redact, shop/redact).

Data sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for their own purposes. Data is processed only to provide the App's functionality. The App runs on standard infrastructure providers (hosting and database) acting solely as our processors.

Data security

Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS) and stored in an access-controlled database. Access is limited to what is required to operate the App.

Your rights

You can uninstall the App at any time to stop all data access and trigger deletion of your stored data. For any privacy question or request, contact us at orisstystudios@gmail.com.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected on this page with a new effective date.
